My Little Catch Up and Sketch Saturday Challenge...

Wow, where has the month almost gone...I have still got this horrible cold and some days have just gone to work and came home and went to bed...I was hoping to get some more challenges done before now...the mind was willing but the body wasnt.lol...

It was my dads birthday this week and gardening George looks bit like him so I just had to use him. I have used the sketch from SKETCH SATURDAY...Love the sketch, will be one for the file thats for sure...Have jigged it about a little bit but think it still works...





Here's what I used...
Basic Grey Archaic papers...

Woodware corner punch to round off corners...distressed edges with versa fine ink pad...

George the Gardener Digi Stamp coloured with a mix of promarkers and copics...

The buttons are from stash...twine was from a jeans label...numbers from stash coloured with gold promarker...

Sentiment is from Claire Curds range, stamped onto half an oval nestie run through swiss dots folder...

I have a day off tomorrow so you never know I might just manage to get some crafting done and be back with another challenge...cant sleep so off to have a look at some of them...

BELATED HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL....

Just wanted to wish everyone a Happy New Year....hope you have all recovered from your festivities and things are back to some kind of normality...We had a great time because Barry's g/f's dad arrived with his accordian and entertained us with a live performance, all the youngsters loved it...we took some pics but theyre rubbish so not worth posting on here.lol...Not spoke to any of the neighbours yet this year to appologise for the late hour we got everyone out...not sure what time it was but it was daylight :o...as my mum would say it was just like the old days.lol...

I thought I would be crafting away to my hearts content this week because I have some time off work but I have been struck down with a really bad cold, woke this morning feeling worse than ever, so it dont look like its shifting very soon....a bit like the snow outside...I have not even played with any of my new goodies that I got for christmas presents :-(

The schools were due back yesterday but another extra few days off for Grant as well because ALL schools in Aberdeenshire are closed because of the snow...He begins his prelim exams on Friday so fingers crossed school will be open for that but I'm not going to hold my breath...

Well enough of my waffling I'm off to do some blog hopping and have a look at some challenges because that was my new years resolution to take part in more challenges and to use more of my ever growing stash...Fingers crossed may get some things done before I go back to work on MOnday...Hope you are all well and wrapped up nice and cosy wherever in blogland you are...
