Hope you have all had a fabby weekend...the sun has been shining and I have done all the ironing in the garden...got a fab tan and now thought would pop on to my blog before I head off to bed because before I know it will be Monday morning again...
I had a couple of days off work and really enjoyed chilling in the garden...I have been busy crafting and making cards for challenges but need to buy some batteries for camera before can get pics done...I did manage to get a pic of this little cutie she is from here go and browse the Tiddly Inks shop but dont blame me if you spend some money.lol...
The card I have made for the Tiddly Inks Challenge, even though I have bought a few of their digi images I am ashamed to admit once again that I have not used any of them up til now...They are the most adorable images and all as cute as a button Im sure you will agree...
I made the card for one of the little girls that I visit every week when she and her brothers have contact with mum, the 3 kids are fab and have came on leaps and bounds with the foster carers...unfortunately they wont be returning home and we are in the process of finding a family to place them with permanently...its sad to see a family apart but I have to keep thinking back to how they were living and know that this is best for them...anyways Im waffling as usual...lol...
On to the challenge this week it is 'Embelishments' buttons or lace or both if you want...
I have used the Happy Day Set from Tiddly Inks...Coloured with pro markers...stickled to the max to give a bit of bling...
Background papers...the pink flowery one is from the 'Just Chillin' pad from making memories...it was a bargain from hobbycraft in their sale...the white patterned semi circle is from one of the smirk pads...I have distressed and pricked around the edges of papers and then added stickles...
The buttons were from The Works and I just love them and they are only £1 so what more can we ask for...I had to recolour the pink ones using promarkers as they were a bit too pale...added some spots, the ribbons were cut from the inside of tops...anything for nothing is my motto...
The sentiment is from Craftwork Cards another must have in my stash...a little peel off from stash round the image which was cut with a nestie in my buggy...
The fantastic lace is from a small shop in Aberdeen that sells anything and everything but they always have a fab selection of lace and ribbon all at bargain prices...I love going in to see whats in the basket this week...
Inside the card is all from the same happy days set from Tiddly Inks and coloured with promarkers...the insert is from a cd called celebration from Card Creations plus ...the verse is from Imag-e-nation where you can find a great selection of different verses...
