Tiddly Inks Challenge...Number 10 Embelishments

Hope you have all had a fabby weekend...the sun has been shining and I have done all the ironing in the garden...got a fab tan and now thought would pop on to my blog before I head off to bed because before I know it will be Monday morning again...

I had a couple of days off work and really enjoyed chilling in the garden...I have been busy crafting and making cards for challenges but need to buy some batteries for camera before can get pics done...I did manage to get a pic of this little cutie she is from here go and browse the Tiddly Inks shop but dont blame me if you spend some money.lol...

The card I have made for the Tiddly Inks Challenge, even though I have bought a few of their digi images I am ashamed to admit once again that I have not used any of them up til now...They are the most adorable images and all as cute as a button Im sure you will agree...

I made the card for one of the little girls that I visit every week when she and her brothers have contact with mum, the 3 kids are fab and have came on leaps and bounds with the foster carers...unfortunately they wont be returning home and we are in the process of finding a family to place them with permanently...its sad to see a family apart but I have to keep thinking back to how they were living and know that this is best for them...anyways Im waffling as usual...lol...

On to the challenge this week it is 'Embelishments' buttons or lace or both if you want...

I have used the Happy Day Set from Tiddly Inks...Coloured with pro markers...stickled to the max to give a bit of bling...

Background papers...the pink flowery one is from the 'Just Chillin' pad from making memories...it was a bargain from hobbycraft in their sale...the white patterned semi circle is from one of the smirk pads...I have distressed and pricked around the edges of papers and then added stickles...

The buttons were from The Works and I just love them and they are only £1 so what more can we ask for...I had to recolour the pink ones using promarkers as they were a bit too pale...added some spots, the ribbons were cut from the inside of tops...anything for nothing is my motto...

The sentiment is from Craftwork Cards another must have in my stash...a little peel off from stash round the image which was cut with a nestie in my buggy...

The fantastic lace is from a small shop in Aberdeen that sells anything and everything but they always have a fab selection of lace and ribbon all at bargain prices...I love going in to see whats in the basket this week...

Inside the card is all from the same happy days set from Tiddly Inks and coloured with promarkers...the insert is from a cd called celebration from Card Creations plus ...the verse is from Imag-e-nation where you can find a great selection of different verses...

Thanks for looking and hope you are all well in blogland wherever you are...

My Fathers Day Card...

Fathers Day Card...for a few challenges...

Sorry not been around much, been sooo bsy again at work and always shattered at night and in my bed long before the birdies...been busy catching up on housework and trying to be organised for getting the wedding invites made when the last of the card Ive ordered gets delivered...hopefully will be a production line on the go this week...

Anyways took a break last night to chill and made dad's fathers day card...was a bit rushed but got there in the end...my dad is a no fuss and frills kinda guy like most men out there...he has just treated himself to a new wide screen telly and a mini didi ickle one for my mum for the bedroom...think world cup fever has hit the house because went to visit today and he has a wall chart pride of place on the living room wall...going back to his youth me thinks.lol...

On to the card...I made the t.v. out of black shiny holograph card, using the keepsake board Media n Pastimes...had this board for ages and Im ashamed to say its the 1st time Ive used it...
Found the horse racing pic online and resized to fit the board...

The fabby image is Ronnie Relaxing that you can find here through the lovely Emma who is fundraising for a great cause in memory of her dad...if you have not got Ronnie in your digi stamp collection pop over and support her cause...
He's been coloured with Promarkers I'm bit dissappointed didnt use the right settings on printer and its smudged slightly, but with my dads eyesight Im sure he wont notice.lol...

His comfy chair has been paper pieced with papers downloaded from the fantastic Summer Driggs blog...she has the most fantastic freebies and all print beautifully...pop over here and have a look at her blog it is a real inspiration...

Background papers are all from the fathers day set from Summer Driggs, I made the scallop edge with circles cut with an xcut punch...

Sentiment coloured with promarkers was a free download from The Creative Cottage

Wedding Invites...

I have been asked by my friend to design and make her wedding invitations....EEEK!!

Here are the 3 different designs I came up with It was quite hard considering the few embelishments she had chosen for them...I would love to hear what everyone thinks of them and will be back later in the week to have a bit of a competition for the ones that she choose and have some candy for the winner...

I am away to supervise a contact between a mum and her toddler at Corntonvale womens prison today at work and oh boy did I say I wanted new challenges but to be honest im pooing myself..
I have left instructions where to find the hoover, brush and dusters and how to work the washing machine just incase.lol...But joking aside Im sure its probably going to be one of the best contacts that I have supervised and I am looking forward to another challenge...

Hope you are all well in blogland wherever you are...
