***Edit to Post: The lovely Doreen Pointed me in the direction of Your Next Stamp Challenge Blog their challenge for this 2 weeks is going dotty so I think my grammie and gramps fit the bill there dont you :-)...the YSN blog is lovely and some fab cards and stamps to drool over too...PLUS they have free worldwide postage until the end of May***
Made this Golden wedding Anniversary card for an order...I was entering it into the Crafty Catz Challenge that have the theme spots this week, but I was too late...not like me.lol...Loved making the card though so thats what counts...I ended up being very last minute as Mr Postie brought me Grammie & Gramps from the Greeting Farm through the letterbox this morning...So I change everything I had already prepared...Do you ever do that?? They came via Quixotic Paperie and their service was 2nd to none, prices are really good too so I would highly recommend anyone to order from them. The other goodies I used for my card were...
8x8 blank cardstock...pack of 3 from every crafts a pound at the craft show at the SECC...love using this size of card and always stock up when I go to the shows.
Background papers and card were also a bargain buy at the SECC craft show I only wish I had bought more than one box, the quality of the card and papers is fantastic...I tried distressing not too sure if it worked or not.lol...edged the paper with mirri board and some antique gold glitter...
The ribbon frame I resized in the computer was a free download from Lindsay's Stamp Stuff at My Grafico..they have a fab selection of downloads and loads of freebies to choose from...I did print it off on acetate but Doh @ me I forgot to reverse before I printed it to lay over the top of my card...so I paper pieced the ribbon instead, edged with some antique gold glitter which looked better in real life than the pic...
The sentiment and verse I made on the computer...The ribbon was in stash think it was from box of chocs a while back...
Grammie & Gramps were a dream to colour using promarkers...I just love gramps' spotty slippers he just looks sooo like my granda did when I was growing up...always wore a shirt and tie and I think I got my love of cardi's from him as he had one in every shade of brown you could get...lol..
Thanks for looking...hope you are all well in blogland wherever you are...off to make more cards while Ive got my mojo...and see what tomorrow brings...hopefully another package from my bestest friend....Mr Postie..
Hugs and happy crafting
Jackie xx

I've done the same before myself. Annoying isn't it. ynschallenges.blogspot.com/ has a challenge running until 11th May . The theme is Dots. maybe you would like to pop it into that challenge instead. I have one to pop into it as well.It is a lovely card and I like to help out fellow bloggers when I can especially if they are also fellow Scots. xx Doreen
